Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
