What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
